About
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a proven medical treatment that involves a patient breathing 100% oxygen while in a total body chamber where atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. The increased pressure enables the body to absorb oxygen better, and allow improved oxygenation to areas of damaged tissue, enhancing the body's healing process. This treatment can be used for a variety of medical conditions. It is important to note that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is safe, painless and non-invasive.
